Virtual PC 2.1 includes Voodoo2 support. The drivers for the original 3Dfx Voodoo Graphics card and the new Voodoo2 card are included on the Extras drive image.
Virtual PC 2.1 allows user-selectable ethernet devices. This option will be shown in the Virtual PC Preferences dialog. The preference box will only have the ability to choose a card/built-in when more than one ethernet device is actually available.
Support for hot-swapping PowerBook floppy and CD-ROM drives is now provided. Virtual PC 2.1 now reports to the operating system that a CD-ROM and floppy device is present at all times.
Apple G3 users and users of third-party PCI ethernet cards should use Open Transport 1.3 or later (available as part of MacOS 8.1.)
FWB's CD-ROM ToolKit should be updated to 2.0.6 or later. Also, make sure in the CD-ROM ToolKit control panel that "Allow Mounting Of: Any ISO 9660 volumes on "dual-format" Apple HFS CD-ROMs" is checked.
CD Mounter Pro (Software Architects, Inc.) version 3.2.0 can't mount CD's with any version of Virtual PC. Users should upgrade to CD Mounter Plus 3.3.2
If the control panel SerialSpeed 230 (Brookline Software) is set to 230,000, Windows may not be able to detect a modem. If this occurs set the SerialSpeed 230 control panel's port speed to 115,000.
Owners of the Radius Precision color display cannot use the Radius Precision Windows 98 monitor driver. Use the Standard SVGA driver instead.
Norton Utilities CrashGuard 1.0 generates an erroneous crash message when Virtual PC is launched. To correct this problem users should obtain the latest version of CrashGuard from Symantec.
Kensington's MouseWorks users should use version 5.0.4 or later and should follow the manufacturer's specifications for configuring the mouse. Make sure the Virtual PC Mouse preferences reflect this setting.
InfoWave (GDT) PowerPrint users must set the COM1 port to the Printer or Modem Port that the PowerPrint serial to parallel converter cable is connected. Within Windows 95 select the correct Windows driver (or closest driver) for the PC printer. Select COM1 as the printer port and click on Configure Port and verify the following 57,600; Data bits: 8; Parity: none; Stop bit: 1; Flow Control: Xon/Xoff

Dual-format CD's now mount correctly when using FWB Toolkit. You must insert the CD after launching Virtual PC. If the CD is mounted on the Mac desktop and then Virtual PC is launched the CD will not be accessible under Windows/DOS.

"C:\CNTX\FSHARE32.VXD" system.ini entries.
Known problems:
Some programs that use their own modem drivers instead of the built-in Windows 95/98 drivers will return a "carrier not detected" message. We are investigating possible solutions.
